On standing contract from the New Republic to track down Imperial warlords, the Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his Force-adept foundling Grogu were tasked with rescuing criminal empire scion Rotta the Hutt (voiced by Jeremy Allen White) from gladiator-pit imprisonment.
