Classic 1956 session, generally regarded as Art Pepper's first recording after being released from Federal prison for drug possession. Fearing the stigma, Tampa Records decided to release it under Marty Paich's leadership. Today, this is one of the most highly regarded Art Pepper recordings. A must for all appreciators of great jazz.
