In the early 15th century, Bohemian mercenary Jan Zizka (Ben Foster) nursed a blood vendetta with the treacherous noble Henry III of Rosenberg (Til Schweiger)-and took the directive of King Wenceslaus IV (Karel Roden) to kidnap Rosenberg's betrothed (Sophie Lowe).
