Lou Pride's "The Memphis / El Paso Sessions 1970-73" is real soul at it's best, featuring 13 tracks never before released on CD. Included is Lou's hit on the U.K.'s Northern Soul scene "I'm Com'un Home in the Morn'un." Six of the tracks were recorded at Willie Mitchell's Royal Studios and feature the power groove of the Hi Rhythm section and the classic sound of the Memphis Horns. Severn producers have digitally re-mastered the original analog tapes, making this recording sound even better.
