Whether they aspire to be a professional musician or simply want to gain a deeper understanding of musical concepts, Jason tailors each class and lesson to best meet the creative interests of each student. All of his lessons incorporate music theory, ear training, improvisation, and critical thinking, so the student can gain deeper insight into what they are playing and/or composing. Learning music is more than learning a craft or skill set - it is a wonderful method of unlocking creative potential. Jason believes any student of music, regardless of their knowledge base, educational background, age, or experience level, has potential to unlock their unique musical abilities. While teaching a collective knowledge base to all of his students is important, he also strongly believes in supporting individuality and the creative process, and that we all have something valuable to offer to ourselves, the community and the world through our creative and artistic pursuits.
