Chinese composer mr zheng bing is famous for modernizing national music. In 1992 he was honored 'the best composer of traditional music' in Taiwan. Mr zhu xiao-sheng is noteworthy as a soloist in erhu performance. Their reknown piece, the first erhu concerto, won the honorary award of American international new music composition contest in the United States. This beautifully recorded and packaged 2 CD set includes that piece and 4 others and is a must for the world fan or Chinese/asian culture enthusiast.
