Monk's Dream was the first album Thelonious Monk released on Columbia Records following his less-than-amicable departure from Riverside Records. Although he had previously recorded all of the album's compositions in various settings-with the exception of "Bright Mississippi"-the remarkable cohesion of the quartet brought them together into a masterful and unified statement. The result was a critically acclaimed album that earned widespread praise upon it's release and continues to be celebrated as one of Monk's finest achievements. It also became the best-selling album of his career. THE COMPLETE ALBUM + 2 BONUS TRACKS - 180-GRAM CRYSTAL CLEAR VINYL - LIMITED EDITION
