Containing rehearsal songs for the Tour that they did supporting Leo Sayer, this excellent album captured Splinter in a whole new vein as they had never been heard before, A Brilliant Two Man Band ! Splinter came to fame when in 1974, they signed to George Harrison's Dark Horse Record label and released a superb album, (the band's first) The Place I Love, which attained them vast critical note the world over, and an instant link to The Beatles.. A multi- national hit single "Costafine Town" was clipped from the album and did very well chartwise in many countries including the UK, USA, Australia, South Africa, and Canada to new a few.
