The third Reservoir release of trombonist John Fedchock's critically acclaimed New York Big Band features Fedchock's dynamic and swinging arrangements of his own original compositions, and those of Freddie Hubbard, Joe Henderson, Thelonious Monk, Oscar Pettiford and Duke Ellington. The 71 minutes of music is highlighted by the soloing of Fedchock, trumpeters Scott Wendholdt and Barry Ries, saxophonists Rick Margitza and Rich Perry, and other band members.
