Product Notes
This exceptional sci-fi film is filled with satire, comedy, and socially provocative moments. A factory worker's corpse is found in a culvert. At the autopsy, the body miraculously comes back to life! An alien named Omicron has taken control and slowly starts to learn his body's functions. Some of these scenes will make you howl! His presence on Earth is to study humans and determine an invasion plan. Omicron longs for his home planet, but his requests to return home are denied. To learn about Earth, he reads hundreds of books (with a fan blowing pages) in a matter of minutes (he stuffs a Brigitte Bardot book into his shirt). The scene where he explains how Earth's economy works is a riot! The assembly line scene, likewise, is also hilarious. A great piece of Italian science fiction. With English subtitles. From a gorgeous 35mm print.
