Screenwriter Richard Benson (William Holden) has three days to finish his movie. But to meet his deadline, he needs the help and imagination of his captivating secretary Gabrielle Simpson (Audrey Hepburn). Together, they write andrevise a romance/mystery as they envision themselves in the lead roles. The suspense builds as each page pulls the writing team, and their alter egos, closer and closer.
