In a bid to escape summary execution by Nazi storm troopers, French Jew Gilles (Nahuel Pérez Biscayart) managed to sell his captors on the notion that he was actually Persian. Maintaining the ruse will be another challenge, as he's hauled before the camp's deputy commandant (Lars Eidinger), who wished to open a business in Iran after the war... and expected to be tutored in Farsi.
