He also adds an interesting twist with Missy Mazzoli's Isabelle Eberhardt Dreams of Pianos. Set against recorded fragments of Schubert's Piano Sonata D959, the work imagines the early 20th Century Swiss adventurer riding across the Sahara Desert on horseback, reflecting on the comfort of her early life in Viennese high society.
