After the death of the Dresden concertmaster Johann Georg Pisendel 1755 Saxon Electoral Princess Maria Josepha was buying up it's musical legacy and incorporate the Court Library. In the Dresden court church, in a large cabinet with the number II, the musical treasure was stored in own and others' compositions and has been preserved over the centuries. Only a small part of this repertoire from "Schranck II" is, however, far sighted, let alone recorded, so that the present recording with the Batzdorfer court orchestra boasts some worth listening world premiere recordings.
