This SHM-CD release celebrates the 60th anniversary of The Beatles' historic 1966 performances at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo from June 30 to July 2, presenting the Japanese-compiled LP originally issued that same year as a commemorative edition for their visit, based on "Please Please Me" and featuring stereo versions of tracks that were previously only available in mono in Japan, faithfully recreating the original deluxe packaging with a uniquely designed cardboard sleeve jacket, a miniature reproduction of the original LP obi, and an 8-page bound-in booklet with color photos and lyrics, along with a six-fold poster measuring H358mm x W240mm, while utilizing the 2009 remastered audio source and maintaining the original UK album track listing.
