Power, directed by Sidney Lumet (Network, Prince of the City) depicts how calculated and dehumanized the political process has become. The film shows the maneuverings of political candidates as they try to get elected, and the people hired to sell them to the public - the media consultants. It's smart, it's knowledgeable, sometimes it's funny, occasionally it's very touching, and I learned something from it (Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times).
