With Projet 8, Andre Moisan clarinetist and saxophonist with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra presents a bold project bringing together eight Canadian composers around a strong concept: eight works of about eight minutes each for bass clarinet and octet.

At the crossroads of jazz and classical music, this recording offers an immersive experience where composition and improvisation blend in a rich, contemporary sound palette. Supported by an original ensemble string quartet and jazz trio the bass clarinet emerges as a central, expressive, and deeply modern voice.
