Description
Civil War orphan Phillip (Bobby Breen) is raised by a former slave (Louise Beavers) who saves money to send him to a private school. However, when the local priest find Phillip's family, he sends Phillip to New York to live with them. When they refuse to accept him as their own, Phillip must rely on heartfelt charm and his singing ability to help win the over. Songs include the title tune, "Flower Song," and "Old Folks at Home.
