Product Notes
Vinyl LP pressing. Their sophomore release returns on white vinyl. Produced by Nick DiDia (Bruce Springsteen, Stone Temple Pilots, Rage Against The Machine) and Stone Gossard (Pearl Jam). Contains "Dizzy" which was featured in 1995's The Basketball Diaries (starring Leonardo DiCaprio). Who would have thought that a few years after Stone Gossard and Mookie Blaylock playing their first show opening for the band that would become Green Apple Quick Step, GAQS's sophomore album would be recorded in the Pearl Jam guitarist's home studio. But, that's exactly what happened... Reloaded, originally released in 1995, was produced by Gossard and multiple Grammy winner Nick DiDia (Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Rage Against The Machine). The album's first single, "Dizzy," was featured both in the film The Basketball Diaries, and on it's soundtrack-sitting alongside tracks from The Doors, Soundgarden, Jim Carroll, and The Cult. CMJ New Music Monthly wrote that the "alterna-rock promise of [Wonderful Virus-their debut] in no way hints at the leaps and bounds by which the band seems to have grown, or the unexpected paths Reloaded follows." Finally, 30 years later, Reloaded gets reintroduced, remastered on white vinyl and is also included on the double CD Dizzy: The Medicine Label Anthology. It's missing status on wax has been rectified, and Reloaded is ready to be loaded onto your turntable.
