Linda Hopkins has been singing and touring for over 50 years, having enjoyed some chart success in duets with Jackie Wilson in the early '60s. This CD features her Blues-shouting roots recording with Johnny Otis for Savoy. Includes powerful performances written and produced by the emergent Leiber & Stoller in Los Angeles, then rocking Blues from Kansas City and New York and Rock 'N' Roll sides from 1957. All recordings feature Linda in vibrant vocal form on both shouters and ballads.
