Eliza Gilkysons first studio album in three years is the long-awaited and stunning sequel to 2008s highly-acclaimed BEAUTIFUL WORLD and it reveals a songwriter at the height of her story-telling powers. Full of equal measures of joy and sorrow sometimes political, always emotional the songs reflect Elizas vivid and brilliant vision of the world around her. Joining her on the production are a who's who of Austin session players, as well as her son Cisco Ryder (who also acted as producer), brother Tony Gilkson (X, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Dave Alvin) and "stablemates" from the highly popular folk super trio, Red Horse Lucy Kaplansky and John Gorka. As always Eliza will be touring nationally and internationally throughout the year, both solo and with Red Horse, and the release is certain to draw lots of airplay and garner special features in the media.
