Product Notes
Limited orange colored vinyl LP pressing. 2024 release, the follow up to Dance Mode! Features 16 brand new recordings from series 1, 2 and 3. Rug Island is an album of adventure, a playful journey through the imaginations of Bluey and Bingo. The album takes inspiration from the episode Rug Island - a place where children play and adults embrace their inner kid. "The album plays out where you got these little versions of Rug Island, which are like little journeys into the world of the kids' imagination, and their games and what they play." Joff Bush Featuring the singles 'Octopus' (a rock track featuring the band King Stingray), 'Onesies', and the new version of the theme 'Bluey Theme Tune (Vocal Version)'. The album also features standout tracks 'Fairytale' (an 80s inspired synth rock track), 'Explorers' (a traditional style sea shanty), 'Muffin Drive' (a Muffin-themed driving rock song) and 'Turtle Boy' ("a simple sweet track" - Joff Bush). The sleeve captures this scene from Rug Island, with the reverse of the sleeve connecting together with the previous albums to form a panoramic image of the Heeler's home.
