Masayoshi Takanaka's Saudade is a Japan-only SHM-CD reissue and 2013 digital remaster of the acclaimed 1982 album, released by Universal Music as part of the J-Fusion Breeze series (catalog number UPCY-6721). This edition includes 1 CD featuring nine tracks: "A Fair Wind, " "Saudade, " "Eona, " "Breakin' Loose, " "Ride 'em High, " "Chill Me Out, " "New York Strut, " "The Forest Of My Heart, " and "Manifestation." Blending fusion, jazz-funk, disco, rock, funk, soul, and electronic influences, the album was produced by Narada Michael Walden in association with Masayoshi Takanaka. Originally released under Polydor K.K. in 1982, this SHM-CD edition was manufactured in Japan and released on June 26, 2013.
