Thom Colvin (Sam Jaeger, Parenthood) isn't having a good day. After getting shot down by a photography agency, he comes home to find his landlord evicting him. Claire Barrow (Amber Jaeger) isn't having a good day, either. She's found her husband flirting with his new secretary, and discovered her estranged father has suffered a heart attack. Little does Thom know that when this attractive, frenzied lady hops into his NYC cab and says 'take me to California,' that their journey winding across America will become the adventure, and possibly comic misadventure of their lifetimes.
