Product Notes
After winning a surfing contest in Arizona (of all places), teenager Rick (Matt Adler) heads off to spend the summer in Hawaii. While trying to master the big waves of the North Shore, Rick clashes with some territorial locals, falls for a young Hawaiian beauty (Nia Peeples), and is taken under the wing of a surf guru (Gregory Harrison) who teaches him the finer points of "soul surfing."
