Shadows on a Dime is a feat of excellent musicianship and fine songwriting. Ferron writes f love with the relentless introspection of Leonard Cohen, and, as with classic Bob Dylan, her songs' touch, questioning attitude sometimes give way to an unexpected sweetness.
