Simple Creatures is Mark Hoppus (blink-182) and Alex Gaskarth (All Time Low). Their debut single "DRUG" was written by Hoppus and Gaskarth in collaboration with their producer and friend, Zakk Cervini (blink-182, Yungblud, All Time Low, 5SOS) and was released Friday, January 25 to critical acclaim. Hoppus and Gaskarth are long-time friends who both found some downtime whilst blink-182 and All Time Low were between albums. They came together to work on something a little different and thus Simple Creatures was born.
