Carolyn Sampson, now the best British early music soprano by quite some distance' [Gramophone] Carolyn Sampson made her opera debut with English National Opera in Monteverdi's The Coronation of Poppea and returned to sing Tanterabogus in The Fairy Queen with the company in London and Barcelona.
