George Harrison's ninth solo album, originally released in 1981, was initially scheduled for release the previous year but underwent changes when four songs were replaced at the record company's request for material with greater commercial potential. The resulting album gained significant attention for the single "All Those Years Ago," a tribute to John Lennon following his death, featuring contributions from Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr. Part of a Japan-exclusive 2026 remaster campaign commemorating the 60th anniversary of George Harrison's Beatles tour of Japan and the 35th anniversary of his Japan tour with Eric Clapton, this edition has been newly remastered from 192kHz/24bit files freshly transferred from the UK original master tapes and is presented on SHM-CD in a Type A double cardboard sleeve jacket featuring the original LP artwork. This release also includes newly written liner notes by Isao Inubushi, lyrics, and Japanese translations.
