In their first adventure, Sonic and his new best friend Tom (James Marsden) team up to defend the planet and Sonic's one-of-a-kind superpower. The second adventure has Sonic eager to prove he has what it takes to be a true hero. With the help of his new sidekick Tails (Colleen O'Shaughnessey), Sonic goes on a globe-trotting mission to defeat Dr. Robotnik once again, but this time Dr. Robotnik's partnered with a new Echidna who packs a punch, Knuckles (Idris Elba).
