10-time Grammy winner Yo-Yo Ma presents this remarkable tribute to Argentina's master of the modern tango. Recently, Astor Piazzolla's tangos have inspired a number of classical artists, but Ma's recording fully explores Piazzolla's range as a composer; his tangos and Milongas, music written for the cello and the unique "Tango Remembrances," a "duet" created with an existing track of Piazzolla on the Bandoneon. Other musicians include members of Piazzolla's quintet and Brazilian guitarists Sergio & O'Dair Assad.
