Product Notes
B.B. Driftwood has been filming in Africa, he has a godfather in Cuba, he was living in London during the end of the 1980's working with Dave Stewart and Olle Rom" (their Swedish drummer and recording engineer) in Eurythmics, plus toured in the Caribbean and South America! His music could be labeled as "Blues", but in a very broad meaning, and with "colors" of Country, Latin and Gospel. His lyrics very often reflect his views on life and own experiences. B.B. Driftwood's debut release contains 12 songs all written by himself including the songs "Southward Bound", "Sweet Elizabeth", "Indian Summer" and many more. This album also includes special appearances by Maria Winther, winner of the Monica Zetterlund award in 2011 (backing vocals) and well-known Opus 3 Records blues artist Eric Bibb (guitar). Released on Sony's SACD audiophile format the sound quality is outstanding.
