Description
The films Buster Keaton starred in at MGM during the 1930s are often dismissed as inferior to the work he did during the silent era, but the truth is that many of them are delightful. In Speak Easily he plays a shy professor who inherits some money, falls for a showgirl, and decides to become a Broadway producer. Jimmy Durante, and Hedda Hopper also star in this feature from director Edward Sedgwick, who happened to be behind some of Keatons best movies, including The Cameraman and Spite Marriage. This one might change your mind about the Keaton talkies!
