The album focuses on one specific train ride that was documented and recorded by Wight in the form of a tale of it's journey through a rocky mountain pass. Wight says: "Here is truly a page out of the past. As [the train cars] struggle you can close your eyes and see the locomotives that preceded them in years gone by... what tales these mountains could tell."
