In the studio, I played a favorite D minor suspended 9th chord, and music began channeling through. I literally could not lift my fingers off the keyboard for over five minutes! You'll hear what I heard with my inner ear on Higher Ground, part 1.

In addition to the major theme and variations, HIGHER GROUND features the track that I recorded while being filmed by the crew from CBS's primetime program 48 HOURS in 1991. I was also interviewed to educate viewers on the healing power of sound and music. On track 2, titled in their honor, I improvised the theme on Rhodes electric piano, then immediately overdubbed the choir and ambient keyboards.

I demonstrated how I add brainwave entrainment tones to 'dial in' whatever frequency I wanted. The effect was so noticeable, it blew the producer's mind. Alas, most of my presentation was edited out when a new producer took over and changed the tone of the program to a more sarcastic attitude. Now you can hear, and feel, what was left out of the broadcast.
