Twelth studio album from pioneering Melbourne funk/soul 10-piece, lead by guitarist/songwriter/band leader Lance Ferguson, with lead vocals from the Australian Queen Of Soul, Kylie Auldist. The band are recognized as a foundational artist in the world renowned Melbourne soul scene that has produced Hiatus Kaiyote, Surprise Chef, and Glass Beams.

Soundwise this new album recalls the timeless sound of their much loved 2020 'Hard Up' album, incorporating a modern songwriting approach with classic soul arrangements, appealing to both purist fans of the genre as much as casual music fans.

Now into their 26th year, The Bamboos have maintained their worldwide reputation as trailblazers of funk & soul. Eleven studio albums in and their evolution continues to be driven by the unmistakably trademark combination of Lance Ferguson's soul-powered production style, their effortless groove powered by a band made up of Melbourne's best players, and Kylie Auldist's incredible voice.

First single "Rockets & Flowers" is already getting support from Craig Charles on BBC 6Music, KEXP Seattle, ABC Radio Australia, RSI Switzerland, and specialist Soul radio worldwide like Jazz Funk Soul Radio (UK), Total Soul (UK), Totally Wired (UK), London Soul Radio, Up Radio (FRA), Radio RASA (SWI), RMC 2 (ITA), Groovin (Radio Fro) (AUT), Superfly FM (AUT), Sublime FM (HOL), Soulbox (HOL), Dubmission (USA), and CKUA Alberta (CAN).

The album arrives in the middle of a wave of viral success for their 2006 track "I Don't Wanna Stop", which exploded on social media in late 2025 and shows no sign of slowing down. It recently passed one billion plays on TikTok and has similarly huge numbers across Instagram and YouTube.
