Superior Donuts is a comedy about Arthur (Judd Hirsch), the owner of a small donut shop that's located in a quickly gentrifying Chicago neighborhood, and Franco (Jermaine Fowler), the enterprising employee who's determined to bring his shop into the 21st century. In it's second season, Franco decides to follow his dream and apply to art school while continuing to work at the shop, an estranged family member re-enters Arthur's life, and Randy (Katey Sagal) reconsiders her career choice as a cop. Also, donuts. Lots and lots of donuts.
