Seemingly trying to be at once a public information film and a sordid exploitation flick, this offbeat British outing depicts the many ways in which hitchhiking can go terribly awry. Featured among the seamy vignettes are two young women who are raped on their way to a music festival, a man who gets stabbed after picking up some hitchers, and a Swedish woman who ends up in a threesome with a middle-class couple.
