As an extremely valuable diamond is transported via rail from London to Edinburgh, several people are murdered. Holmes, who has been hired to help protect the jewel, is pushed off the train, almost dying in the process. He suspects jewel thief Colonel Sebastian Moran, but first must work to get back on board to confirm his suspicions in this high-speed adventure.
