The first album of Ferron's to be released widely in the United States (in 1980), this album is considered by many to be her finest work. Tracks like 'Misty Mountain', 'Who Loses', the title track and the quintessential break up song, 'Ain't Life a Brook', definitely make it a must have for the Ferron fan! This disc has been out of print since 2001 and used copies are selling on Amazon for $80 (as of 4/18/07)! She has influenced several generations of singer-songwriters, with artists like the Indigo Girls, Ani Difranco and Tracy Chapman all crediting her as an inspiration.
