2009 release, the seventh album from the Legendary Hearts front man. Between 1988 and 2000, the Legendary Hearts released five albums which all reached gold or platinum status in their native Canada. The Inside Passage is a collection of songs that were loosely based on growing up on the prairies and spending the summers out at the west coast taking long trips from the San Juan Islands to Desolation Sound. The Inside Passage was recorded and produced by John Ellis (Ridley Bent, Be Good Tanyas, and Barney's son Dustin Bentall) at Nashcroft Studios, True North.
