Legendary boxing champion Joe Louis is the subject of this biopic from director Robert Gordon (It Came from Beneath the Sea, Tarzan and the Jungle Boy). Former amateur boxing star Coley Wallace stars as the champ, while the rest of the cast includes John Manley, Hilda Sims, and film noir favorite, Paul Stewart. Of interest to boxing fans, the film features actual footage of many classic Louis bouts, including his battles with Max Baer, Jimmy Braddock, and Primo Carnera!
