Captain Mattei (Auteuil) is about to arrest a gang of bank robbers when a sniper watching from a rooftop singlehandedly decimates a whole army of cops, allowing the gang to escape. Unfortunately, one of the members of the gang is wounded, and their plan falls apart. Then, while Mattei hunts down the sniper, the gang spirals into an abyss of violence and betrayal
