In September of 1976, when Steppenwolf was on hiatus, John Kay went into Heritage Recorders in Hollywood, CA with some of the biggest sidemen and artist around. Lowell Geroge and Billy Payne of Little Feat, Jim Gordon, the Tower of Power Horns, Nickie Hopkins, Clydie King, Vanetta Fields and more are all part of this album. The result is a diversity in playing styles that creates an amazing texture and contrast to some fantastic material.
