In this twelve episode serial, circus animal trainer Clyde Beatty sails aboard a rescue ship after his girlfriend is shipwrecked. After his dirigible is broken apart in a massive storm, he finds he is also marooned on the island. He and others soon find the island to be populated by lions, tigers and bears. Putting his training to use, Clyde saves his girlfriend only to have to deal with a mutinous crew.
