Barbara Stanwyck is wonderfully funny as Melsa Manton, a society girl who's convinced she's uncovered a murder when she stumbles upon a dead body in an abandoned house. But when the police dismiss her findings and she's accused of pulling a prank, Melsa recruits seven of her high-class pals to help track down the killer.
