The three Thompson kids rolled their eyes when their dissatisfied engineer mom Polly (Claire Foy) listened to their househusband dad Tim (Andrew Garfield) and abandoned London for a rural farm. They wouldn't believe their eyes when they found a seemingly ordinary tree in the nearby woods... whose top provided a gateway to infinite magical realms. Splashy, sprightly take on the Enid Blyton kidlit prose co-stars Nonso Anozie, Nicola Coughlan, Jessica Gunning, Jennifer Saunders, and Rebecca Ferguson. 110 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack: English.
