Description
The Prisoner of Zenda stars the unpredictable Peter Sellers stars in three hilarious roles in the hilarious comedy about a London cabby who becomes a king. The crazy old monarch of Ruritania (Sellers) dies, leaving the throne to son Rudolph (Sellers). But his evil brother Michael (Jeremy Kemp) wants the crown for himself. Afraid harm will come to Rudolph, his loyal followers (Lionel Jeffries and Simon Williams), switch his Majesty with a London cabby named Syd (Sellers) who looks exactly like... Rudolph! Add two adoring and confused royal blondes (Elke Sommer and Lynne Frederick), plenty of treachery and double-dealing, a dank prison, and a full-scale battle for life and honor, and you've got Zenda at it's zaniest!
