Bluesy and intensely swinging pianist Anthony Wonsey is back with his second Sharp Nine release, a trio and quartet outing featuring tenor giant Eric Alexander (on four tracks) and the rock solid rhythm combo of Nat Reeves and Joe Farnsworth. Wonsey's varied program features rejuvenated standards "All the Things You Are" and "Billy Boy" and four outstanding originals.
