Product Notes
Claire Trevor, Albert Dekker, and Barry Sullivan star in this double-barreled gem from Harry Sherman Productions, a prolific company known for churning out entertaining westerns during the 1930s, 40s, and 50s. This one is about Dodge Citys legendary lawman Bat Masterson, whose sweetheart is urging him to hang up his pistol. One problem: there are still plenty of people gunning for him! George Archainbaud (known for the Hopalong Cassidy TV series and The Gene Autry Show) directed, while Miklos Rozsa earned an Oscar nomination for Best Music.
